Contemplative Prayer Meetings

Gathering with others in prayer is a wonderful, centering and often times transformative experience.  It’s a necessary part of following Christ. Similar to how a church service reinforces your faith, when gathering with others in contemplative prayer our faith is deepened and our conscious connection with God is awakened and expanded.

A Contemplative Prayer Meeting might vary in content, however they most often include:

• Lectio Divina (praying with the Divine Word of God in scripture)
• Centering Prayer
• Meditation
• Intercessory Prayer
